Only sing in the car or the shower? You’re welcome here. No auditions, no need to read music and no requirement to perform in public.

Perhaps you sang when you were younger and have missed it ever since.
Maybe you love musicals but have never felt confident enough to join a singing group.
Or maybe you simply want to meet new people, sing brilliant songs and have something each week that’s just for you.
That’s exactly why The Ensemble is being created. It isn’t a traditional choir and it isn’t a theatre company. There are NO auditions, NO need to read music and NO pressure to perform.
Think of it as the fan club that sings — a weekly place for people who love musical theatre to sing it, discover it and enjoy it together.
What happens at The Ensemble?
Each 90-minute session brings adults together to sing musical-theatre songs, with a warm-up, guidance from your session leader and backing tracks to sing along to. We’ll enjoy familiar favourites, discover something new and explore a little of the story behind the music. You don’t need to arrive knowing the songs or reading a score.
There may occasionally be opportunities to sing a solo or duet, but they are always optional. There are no compulsory performances — the weekly experience is the main event.
