A place built on bravery
Bravara House began with one simple idea: to create a place where people can try something new, find their voice and be celebrated for giving it a go.
The name draws on bravo, brava and brave — words of encouragement we offer so freely to others, but don’t always offer ourselves.
Over time, Bravara House will become home to a collection of creative experiences built around music, connection and belonging. The Ensemble is where it begins.
What we're building
The fan club that sings.
The Ensemble is part musical-theatre singing group, part musical-theatre fan club — a weekly place for adults to sing favourite songs, discover hidden gems, revisit shows they love and share the stories, characters and little details that make musical theatre so much fun.
There are no auditions, no need to read music and no harmony parts to learn. There are no compulsory performances — the weekly experience is the main event.
Hello, I'm Lisa.
I’m a singer, tutor and lifelong lover of musical theatre.
I spent years performing — including as a singer on cruise ships — and years teaching adults. Along the way, I had plenty of ideas of my own, but always seemed to find a reason not to pursue them.
Bravara House is me deciding to be brave too.
I’m creating The Ensemble for adults who miss singing, people who have always wanted to try, and musical-theatre fans looking for somewhere they can genuinely belong.
I want everyone who walks through the door to feel welcomed, encouraged and glad they came. That’s the promise at the heart of Bravara House.
